More than a million tons pass through the processing installation of Belgian Scrap Terminal annually. At least 80% of this is transported at least once by ship in the course of the logistical process. Our considerable experience in shipping and stevedoring has resulted in our sites being well designed and perfectly equipped for handling inland shipping, coasters or bulk carriers with a cargo of up to 55,000 tons with ease.

Shipping is, in principle, always BST's first choice, both for the dispatch to and collection from customers as well as for internal transport between our various sites. From an ecological, economic and logistical point of view, this is invariably the best solution.
